Evangel Christian School is a private K-12 school that encourages Christian parents to educate their children at home. The school is Board-directed and is a ministry of Evangel Church PCA. The school offers a variety of enrichment activities as well as competitive athletics.

The school is led by Lee Tillman, a former teacher who met his wife Gail Rasbornink at Southeastern University in 1982. Lee and Gail have one daughter, and Lee works actively in the ministries of the Fountain of Life Church. He was first hired as a teacher for the church in 1985. He accepted the position of Principal in 1989 and continues to be involved with the church’s ministries. In 2004, the school was established as a nonprofit Christian school. The school has 142 students, and it has 12.4 full-time teachers.
