The school has a strong academic record, with graduates obtaining high-paying jobs and graduate degrees. They also have a preschool program that will continue through May 26, 2023.

They have a plethora of extracurricular activities for students to get involved in. They offer a Bass Angler Team that will fish in three spring and fall tournaments. They also have a Panther team that may qualify for the state finals. They also have a school-wide music program that has a state award-winning band and a dance group.

The school offers a variety of academic offerings, including computer science, and a small classroom environment. They also have an athletic program, including a baseball team, a football team, a basketball team, and an ice hockey team. They are also the only private school in the Shoals area. MHBS is not for everyone, but for those who are interested in an alternative to public schools, MHBS is worth a look. They are a great school in the Shoals that have done well for its students.
