Loggerhead Marinelife Center

During summer homeschooling in Lauderdale, you can visit the Loggerhead Marinelife Center to learn about the marine environment and learn about the various sea turtle species that call the area home. This non-profit ocean conservation centre offers a variety of exhibits, including a prehistoric Archelon sea turtle replica, saltwater aquaria, and displays of local wildlife. Gulf Coast Classical Academy

There are two levels of courses for homeschoolers to choose from – Basic and Premier. The Basic course is self-paced and includes immediate reinforcement through computer exercises.
